Today the Gaming Gods (TM) have smiled upon me. Alienware
has found a GeForce FX 5800 Ultra for my new PC, and it is
being built as I type this. I figure it'll take one day to
build, one to QA, one to prepare for shipping, and three to
get here after being shipped. That gives it six more business
days, and puts the ETA at the last Friday in May. I assure
you, it will be all I can do to not furiously hump the box
upon its arrival.
In other news, I turned a whopping 24 years old on the 20th.
I'm one year away from half way to 50. I can't believe I'm
so freakin' old. I mean, some of you out there have never
even seen an Atari 2600, Coleco Vision, or Vectrex. I've played
them all, and own the first two. Scary shit indeed.
On the 19th, T'Mitka, my sister, and myself all went to see
The Matrix: Reloaded. I have seen a lot of mixed reviews about
this movie, but let me assure you... it kicks more ass than
all of Oprah's liposuctions combined could make. The visuals
will blow your fucking hair right off your head, your asshole
exert a death grip on your seat, and the plot twist at the
end will totally Flip Your Shit Out (TM). If you haven't seen
it yet, go. Now. If you have seen it, and you didn't like
it, go throw your unimaginative ass off a building. Please.

greatly upset her to the point of hissing.)
