While details are short at the moment, it has been confirmed that Take Two Interactive will be bringing the fourth installment of the Grand Theft Auto series to the Playstation 2 later this Fall. While this comes as no surprise given that Grand Theft Auto 3 was the best selling console game of 2001, it still a little surprising that they would pick the Playstation 2 again over the Xbox. With an Xbox version of GTA3 still in limbo, it makes you wonder what kind of deal, if any, Take Two has struck with Sony.

Grand Theft Auto 4, from what is currently known, will be called "Grand Theft Auto: Miami". There are no definite details about the plot of this new game, but I for one think it will be a direct continuation of GTA3. Why, you ask? Well, remember the message Ray sends you on your beeper after you take him to the airport in his final mission? He said... "See you in Miami!"
