In a move that some industry analyst said wasn't going to happen, Sony has slashed prices across the board on it's videogame hardware products. That's right, it's not just the PS2 that got a price cut. Here's a list of the new prices you can expect to see in stores starting immediately.

PS2 --------------------------------$199.99
PS2 Memory Card ------------------$24.99
PS One ------------------------------$49.99
PS One / LCD Screen Bundle ------$149.99

While these are the only price cuts I can confirm at the moment, Sony is expected to drop the price of most accessories including the Dual Shock 2 and possibly other less essential things like the PS2's vertical stand

Watch for Microsoft to make good on the rumors of a similar Xbox price cut near the end of the month during E3.
