Sony started it yesterday by slashing the spice of the PS2 to $199.99, and Microsoft answered right back. The Xbox is now available for $199.99. This puts all three consoles in the Fifth Console War at the exact same price point. What will Nintendo do now that it's primary selling point, the GameCube's lower price, has been stripped away from them? If at all possible, they'll probably drop their price to $150, but that may not be possible so early in the game. We'll see though...
